BUILDING GLASS WINDOW FILM

Whether you’re the facilities manager of a huge office complex, or a private homeowner of a single property, you have expectations from your glass, glazing and windows, but all sorts of issues can arise with safety, security, solar overheating and glare, winter heat loss or lack of privacy. The only alternative to costly and time consuming replacement are professionally installed window films.

Films can control excessive light and UV to greatly reduce temperature, glare and to improve privacy, or keep windows held together safely in one piece with the use of safety and security film assisting in the fight against forced entry or terrorist bombing; all the films are Teflon coated and extremely tough and installed to provide the service with the minimum of disturbance and cost.

Films are also increasingly useful to architects designing buildings and houses which need to be more energy efficient whilst also keeping costs down by reducing the need dramatically of air-conditioning and complying to building regulations on solar control and employer health and safety requirements related to the rising temperatures in Europe and risks associated with flying glass in the event of accidents or terrorist action. All the films we use are premium quality Llumar products; an ISO 9001/9002 manufacturer. Made from DuPont Teijin Mylar film they are extensively tested, comply with all British and EU Standards and they’re made here in Britain; removing import costs (which is also good for the environment!) and supporting our economy.
